Description
Aquatain AMF is a unique silicone based liquid for mosquito control. It is not a toxic chemical – it works by forming a very thin film on the water’s surface and destroying the aquatic stages of the mosquito lifecycle. It has a physical action rather than chemical action and is non-toxic. Even better its not affected by wind action and doesn’t accumulate at the water edges.
The surface barrier created by Aquatain AMF means that mosquito larvae & pupae cannot attach to the water’s surface and therefore cannot breathe. This surface barrier also prevents adult mosquitoes from laying eggs in the water. It will spread around aquatic vegetation to completely cover the water’s surface forming a continuous barrier against mosquitoes. Use it in standing water such as water tanks, gutters, ponds, blocked drains, pot plants, buckets, septic tanks, dams, old tyres or anywhere that water pools & mosquitoes breed.
– Mosquito Pupa die within two hours.
– Mosquito Larva die within two days.
– It prevents adult mosquitoes from laying eggs in the water and disrupts the mosquitoes’ life cycle for up to 30 days.
Simply pour a few drops directly out of the bottle onto the water surface. (1ml per square meter of water surface). Repeat in 30 days.
