When my son was 15 he told me that there may be a rat in in room as he could here it at night. I thought maybe one could be trying to get in but didn’t follow up by investigating A couple of weeks later I was looking for something in his very messy room and pulled the bed away from the wall and saw a hole in the wall, not down by the floor but about bed height up. Argh rat hole…from outside of house, up inside of wall, bored through wall into base of bed and exiting diagonally at the tail end of bed.. HORROR…was it living in his bed? NO…Just collecting fibres to take outside to line it’s bed somewhere. POOR boy didn’t have rat in his room but in his bed. Omg…i was HORRIFIED…and called pest control. – Tony
Oh god my pantry mites could be the biggest pest invasion for me! Came back from holiday to pantry mites in everything in the pantry and were on every bit of the cupboard and up the walls…. I had to take everything out and throw it away as they got inside unopened bottles and cans! Hinges had to come off all cupboards and soaked in Bleach (they were even in the screw holes!) . And to make matters worse I’m so allergic to mites that I stopped breathing!!!! 😳😳
And that’s when you guys came to the rescue and sprayed everything onsite to get rid of them 🙈🙈🙈 – Marcella
Arghhhhhh….. gives me shivers remembering! Another rat story. We were relaxing in front of the tv when I heard a strange noise coming from the kitchen. Went to take a look and in the dusky light I could make out our dig and two cats holding something in the corner… it was a BIG blinking rat! I put on the light, it ran, I ran screaming along with my daughter and jumped on our dining room table where we remained as the pets and my husband chased it with a mop and bucket but to no avail. It was like it disappeared into thin air. They gave up. Millie and I eventually climbed down off the table and couldn’t relax all night. Next morning the cats were sniffing around the couch. I pulled it from the wall and there was rat poop.. the cats managed to chase the rat out from under the couch and it ran into the kitchen and behind the fridge. We pulled the fridge out and the cats had a stand off with Ratty for two hours. Two hours of growling. Ratty suffered a few claw swipes and eventually ran out into the laundry followed by cats. We shut the door. There was a lot of clattering around. Then silence. When I was brave enough I took a look… perfectly filleted rat. Ewwwwwww…….. – Mel
Fast asleep I feel something on my neck, I flick and it goes away. Drifting back to sleep I feel something in my hair, I wiggle and it goes away – now I’m wondering if it’s my imagination I lie dead still … nothing so I sigh a huge sigh of relief and go back to sleep 😴 only to wake up with something sitting on my cheek I sit up it does a runner I flick on the light to see a mouse 🐭 head across the floor and into the closet!
Horrified I woke my husband who told me I was dreaming… needless to say I couldn’t get back to sleep and set heaps of traps and bait!!!! – Nirvana
Eek… sitting on the couch reading a magazine and something hits the page.. big HUGE whitetail that had dropped off the ceiling onto the magazine, I jumped so high and then squished it into the carpet! I’ve been bitten before and lost a chunk out of my arm… We’re going to get sprayed for them soon! – Holly
