Pets and fleas generally go hand in hand and you must de-flea your pet on a regular basis. However sometimes they can be unavoidable.
What you can do
- Regularly check your pet for fleas, and if possible de-flea your pet on the day of treatment.
- Thoroughly vacuum all floors and pet areas before treatment, paying particular attention to all carpeted areas, then empty the contents into a rubbish bin and dispose of it immediately. Then don’t vacuum after the treatment for at least a week.
- Regularly wash pet bedding, blankets, pillows, etc. including on the day of treatment if possible.
Areas that we treat
- All carpeted areas including under beds, at the bottom of wardrobes.
- Around the perimeter of lino/tiled areas.
- Pet areas such as dog kennels, pet bedding, etc. and where pets rest.
- Sub-floors need to be inspected and may also require treatment.
- In some cases we will have to treat outdoor areas of lawn or dirt areas as fleas can also breed/live on these areas as well.
